NL560: Black Nylon Premium SAE J844 DOT Airbrake Hose

NL580 Eclipse is a coiled, retractable air brake assembly that is used between truck tractors and trailers. Its unique polyamide construction is proven to offer excellent re-coil memory, enhanced flexibility and superior abrasion resistance, over traditional rubber or nylon11. This hose meets DOT FMVSS106, SAE J844 Type 3B, and Federal Highway Administration Title 49, Chapter III (subpart C, paragraph 393.45). Each part number represents one pair (sold as a pair only). The blue assembly is used as the main line and the red is used as an emergency back-up line.

Construction: Tube: Smooth polyamide. Cover: Permanently coiled polyamide (blue for service, red for emergency). Reinforcement: Polyester yarn braided reinforcement.

Typical Fittings: Each length comes with factory installed 1/2″ NPT swivel threaded ends.

Temperature Range: -54°C (-65°F) to +93°C (200°F)
