NL560: Black Nylon Premium SAE J844 DOT Airbrake Hose

NL560 Eclipse air brake tubing is a lightweight, semi-rigid tubing used for air brake, instrumentation and accessory systems on trucks, trailers, buses and other commercial vehicles. Its unique high-grade, polyamide construction offers enhanced flexibility over nylon tubing which allows for easier installation. Eclipse is also proven to offer superior abrasion resistance over traditional rubber or nylon11 (refer to the below comparison chart for further information). It is available in several colours for coding purposes (NL560 black, NL561 blue, NL562 green, NL563 orange, NL565 red, NL566 yellow, NL567 purple). All colours and sizes (except 1/8″ size) meet SAE J844, J1131 J2494-3 and DOT FMVSS106 specifications; this tubing is not designed for compressor discharge or other truck applications where high temperatures are encountered. Unlike other hose, this tubing is ordered by the outside diameter. Note: 1/4″ Tubing is now supplied as Synflex Solstice which is manufactured with proprietary thermoplastic materials in order to combat the shortage of nylon air brake raw materials.

Construction: Tube: Smooth, high-grade polyamide. Cover: Smooth, high-grade polyamide (available in black, blue, green, orange, purple, red, and yellow). Reinforcement: Type A, non-reinforced (-02 to -05 sizes); Type B, polyester fiber reinforced (-06 to -12 sizes).

Typical Fittings: 1400 series brass DOT air brake compression fittings or PC1400 series push-in style DOT tube fittings designed specifically for nylon air brake hose.

Temperature Range: -54°C (-65°F) to +93°C (199°F), Solstice -40°C (-40°F) to +93°C (+200°F)
