Braid

The RYCO wire braid hose looks just like the name might indicate as the construction takes on a crisscross pattern around the perimeter of the hydraulic hose.

Hoses with a braided construction are highly flexible and are ideal for high to medium-pressure applications. They are most used on construction equipment, heavy-duty trucks, and fleet vehicles.

Some leading hydraulic braid hoses that RYCO design, manufacture and produce include DF1D, DF2D, EC1, EC2 and much more.

Braid hoses offer variances in strength and flexibility to suit certain applications, so it is important to understand what each braid hose is designed for.

RYCO Teflon® is recommended for high pressure hydraulic oil lines and fluids at extremes of both pressure and temperature.

RYCO stainless steel braid Teflon® RYTH series hose lining is chemically pure, inert and contains no leachable additives.

RYCO RTH1 is remarkably resistant to high temperature and flame. It has a very high melting point, thermal degradation threshold and auto-ignition temperature.

Fire Sleeve

A heat resistant silicone coated fiberglass sleeving, that protects hoses, cables and wires from molten metal splash, high heat hazards and occasional exposure to flame. Used in steel plants, glass plants, foundries, cutting and welding shops, and similar extreme environments.

Fire Sleeve withstands continuous exposure up to 500°F and short-term exposure up to 2200°F. It is resistant to hydraulic fluids, fuels, and lubricating oils and remains extremely flexible and conformable throughout the entire size range at working temperatures.

Protec Nylon Hose Sleeve

Protec Nylon Hose Sleeve from Tompkins is a self-renewing, abrasion-resistant fabric sleeve that meets ISO 6945 abrasion standards and also has MSHA IC 171/1 flame resistance approval. It is designed to protect hydraulic hoses and provide limited burst and containment protection to your most valuable asset: your employees.

Woven from thousands of nylon filaments, as it is scuffed and worn, its filaments frizz, forming an even thicker, more protective shield. This smooth-bore sleeve is easily installed over hose, chains, cables or springs and may be secured with nylon cable ties or band-clamps. Full 300 foot rolls can contain up to two splices (three pieces).

750/760 Spring Guard

Slide Spring Guards over the hose before assembling hose ends. After ends are assembled, twist and push Spring Guards onto the ferrules. The close pitched end of the Spring Guard goes over the ferrule, and the wide pitched end goes over the hose (as depicted in image).

RCS CROCSLEEVE – Burst Protection Sleeve

Hose burst and pinhole protection. Protection of individual hoses from severe abrasion. Provides a cost effective method of bundling hoses together, while providing abrasion resistance to the bundle. When abrasion occurs, the thousands of tiny filaments in the sleeve bulk up, to continually renew the surface.

Block Valves

Aignep Block Valves are pneumatic devices used to control the movement of the cylinder. They install directly on the inlet and outlet ports of the cylinder and lock the piston in case of a drop in air pressure. Block Valves are used as safety devices in case of emergency stops, the bursting of an air tube, or anything that would stop of the flow of air to the cylinder. Block vValves also enable the cylinder to be stopped in intermediate positions whenever the application would require such a solution.
