4604 series is a straight adapter engineered to connect a low-pressure hose to a female SAE O-Ring Boss (ORB) port. This fitting features a beaded hose barb on one end, designed to provide a secure grip for a hose secured with an external clamp. The raised bead offers a positive stop and an excellent shoulder for the clamp to tighten against, preventing hose slippage. The other end features a male SAE O-Ring Boss (ORB) thread.
