NL5300: Standard LDPE Low-Density White Polyethylene Tubing

Polyethylene tubing has excellent resistance to chemicals and stress cracking. It is suitable for air, water, beverages, most chemicals, acids, solvents, and alkalis. This tubing is commonly used on instrumentation and controls – it is offered in multiple colours for coding purposes: NL5300 (standard) is a natural colour (milky white), NL5305 black, NL5303 red, and NL5302 dark blue, NL5307 yellow, NL5304 orange, and NL5308 dark green available from the factory with minimum runs. We also offer a high end, ultra smooth version, NL5320, for applications where an extremely reliable seal on push-in style tube fittings is required.

Construction: Smooth, FDA approved low density polyethylene tubing (variety of colours).

Typical Fittings: ‘Push-In’ tube fittings (note tubing OD), compression fittings (68), N400-NY nylon, N400-BR brass, or N400-SS stainless steel hose barbs, N62/N64 gear clamps, N66 pinch clamps.

Temperature Range: -32°C (-25°F) to +65°C (150°F); all working pressures are based on 20°C (70°F). For higher temperature applications, working pressure of tubing drops significantly.

Detail Comments: Unlike typical hose, this tubing is measured by outside diameter (OD) to fit tube fittings or compression fittings. Working pressure on these sizes may vary upon manufacturer specifications; check tubing layline for correct pressure.
