NL8111: Blue Urethane Bulk Material Transfer Hose

NL8110 & NL8111 are heavy duty urethane lined hoses that are recommended for suction, discharge, and pneumatic transfer of wet or dry abrasive materials such as sand, grain, wood chips, metal chips, stones, rock dust, and fly ash as well as various chemicals, waste, or water solutions (when used for wet materials spiral clamps must be used for proper sealing). They also can be used on municipal vacuum trucks for storm drain clean out (psi/hg ratings at 20°C/70°F). These hoses offer an in-between option to the lighter duty NL8105 Tigerflex UBK Series and the heavier, more rigid, less flexible traditional ‘rubber’ material handling hoses like our NL8155 Tan Bulkmaster or NL8180/8185/8200/8202 Material Handling. The NL8110/8111 have a smooth, urethane tube that is very durable and abrasion resistant. They will also remain flexible in very cold temperatures and their covers are manufactured with anti-static compounds. NL8111 is a generic unbranded product that delivers quality and economy, it offers a lower price point alternative to higher end, proven brand name products and is designed to compete with lower cost alternatives being introduced to the market. *Service life of material handling hoses may vary depending on the operating conditions, hours of use, and the product being conveyed. Construction: Tube: Smooth, clear polyurethane, static-dissipating (conductive). Cover: Corrugated, blue (NL8110 & NL8111) or black (NL8120) PVC blend. Reinforcement: Rigid, left hand (NL8110 & NL8120) or right hand (NL8111) PVC helix.

Typical Fittings: Insert type fittings can wear out prematurely with highly abrasive products; N675 right hand spiral or N51 double bolt clamps. Note: Spiral clamps or strapping must be used for proper sealing with wet materials.

Temperature Range: -40°C (-40°F) to +65°C (149°F)
